Massachusetts Students to Get Tons of Motivation as Legendary Roger Federer and Bernie Sanders Appear as Crucial Guests at Universities

Is there anything Roger Federer cannot do? Such has been the greatness of the Swiss maestro that he has enthralled fans both on and off the court. While his tennis exploits need no explanation, Federer has also made some starry appearances at big events. The 20-time Grand Slam champion retired a couple of years ago but he hasn’t been away from the sport. Recently, it was revealed that Federer is set to make another glittering appearance, this time at a collage event.
The colleges and universities in Boston are preparing for graduation season which will see thousands of students enter the next phase of their lives. To celebrate this, large commencement ceremonies have been planned which will see many renowned personalities in the fields of politics, art, and sports make guest appearances as speakers at these ceremonies.
One of the high-profile guests is Roger Federer, who will be a guest speaker at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Further, he will also receive an honorary degree from the Ivy League university on June 9. Federer, who has supported several philanthropist activities, will share his past experiences with the students there.

Joining the Swiss maestro will be US Senator Bernie Sanders, who will head to a different school – the University of New England, where the commencement ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 18. Apart from the duo, a number of high-profile personalities have been lined up as guest speakers, including Cardinal Stephen Chow, who is the Bishop from Hong Kong, Gov. Maura Healey, and Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll, among others.

While Federer is branching out to a new venture in education, the latest headlines about him have had to about his investments. Recently, it was rumored that he had sold his stake in On Shoes.
Roger Federer out of On Shoes?
The Swiss brand is one of the high-profile companies that has achieved tremendous success ever since it joined hands with Federer. Subsequently, On Shoes has also gone on to partner with athletes like Iga Swiatek and Ben Shelton. However, recently, a Twitter user dropped a shocking rumor about Federer’s stakes in the company.

He revealed, “Word on the street is that Club Fed cashed out his ON shares. It will be interesting to see what his involvement moving forward will be, as well as what ON’s involvement in tennis will be.”

While it is still not clear the reason behind Federer potentially exiting On Shoes, it is set to be a major blow for the company at a time when it was expanding massively. Federer had invested around $300 million in the brand to acquire a 3% stake in it, which he might have decided to cash in recently.
